Commonplaces, a publication journal for first-year writers at Davidson College. I presented the editor, Van Hillard, with several designs, then customized it to his specifications and loaded and coded all of the content.
This “News and Views” site highlights student science writing from a Genomics class at the college. I built and structured the website so that students could post to it. As this was one of the first websites I built, it is not fully accessible.
This is the second iteration of the News and Views class, for the Spring 2022 session. On this site, I focused more on accessibility and a minimalist design, with an additional tab that highlights student profiles that the students can add to their resumes.
